Customer Review: It’s fine
This aerator works just fine. It’s a little tall, so I couldn’t cover it up with gravel, which I would have preferred. Because of this, I think I like the airstones better.
However, this one was good for me because it came with everything I needed. When you buy the airstones, you normally have to buy a few things separately to make it work (the tubing, the airpump). I wouldn’t have known what to buy if I had done that.
This one would probably work better with smaller tanks. I would recommend up to ten gallons.  Read more...

I bought this because I have sciatica and arthritis in my back and knees. It’s hard for me to carry five gallon buckets (which is what I have) from the sink to my tank and then lift them up to pour in. Till I’m done, I have trouble walking because of one of them flaring up. Using the water changer, for once I didn’t hurt when I was finished. It’s the first time I’ve used something like this, and it works wonderfully. I love it. My cats love it too. LOL

I have a 10-gallon tank with a 5 inch pleco, 3 1-2 inches serpae TETRAS, 2 inches and a Platy rite now. im gonna get 2 more for my thoughts and Platys tank 1-2 or 2 dwarf gourami German blue rams. would this be able to work from my local fish shop, but said that I want to respond to another backup. thanx
